Help make Real RTM the standard every patient expects

We build the tools that keep patients connected to the therapist they already trust, between every visit. If that's work you want to own, we'd like to hear from you.

What we believe

The principles behind the product are the same ones behind how we work.

1

Patients come first

Every decision starts with the person doing their program at home on day three, with a question and no one to ask.

2

Care belongs with the therapist

We don't outsource the relationship to call centers or text campaigns. We build for the clinician the patient already trusts.

3

The right way wins

We built Orva to hold up, for patients, for clinics, and for payers. Doing it right is how we plan to win.

A note from the founder

I'm Joe McKeating, founder of Orva. Head of Enterprise Sales is the most important hire I'll make this year. We're going to win the enterprise RTM market, and the person in this seat drives that with me every day.

The short version. You'll own enterprise growth, report directly to me, and earn $220,000 to $300,000 on target. The long version is below, and if you read it and recognize yourself, I want to meet you.

What we do

Recovery doesn't stop when a patient walks out of the clinic. For most of physical therapy's history, care did. I know because I was the patient. I left every appointment with a sheet of exercises and a week of silence, and the questions that came up at home on day three had nowhere to go. My therapist was excellent. The system around the visits gave him no way to be there between them. Orva came out of that experience.

Our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring platform lets treating therapists stay connected to their patients between visits. Patients follow their program through an app on their own phone, built to the standard their banking and shopping apps have set. Therapists see who's progressing, who's struggling, and who needs them today. The between-visit care therapists were already providing, unpaid, becomes a defined clinical service reimbursed by Medicare and commercial payers.

Patients should expect this. Every other part of their life runs on modern software, and between-visit care shouldn't be a random text-message check-in or an unknown caller from a tech vendor they've never heard of. It should be their own therapist, backed by the modern tool everyone deserves.

Thousands of patients rely on Orva every day, and the clinics that serve them are getting better outcomes, stronger patient relationships, and a revenue line that didn't exist before. We call it Real RTM™.

Why this role exists right now

The first wave of RTM was built on outsourcing. Third-party call centers, text-message check-ins, and bolted-on exercise libraries sold as monitoring. Regulators noticed, and CMS is tightening its posture toward any model where someone other than the treating clinician delivers the care.

Orva was built the other way from day one. Monitoring stays where it belongs, with the treating therapist, and we've proven that model works in clinics across the country. While the rest of the market scrambles to retrofit compliance, we're the platform that never needed to.

Most of this market is still up for grabs, and the incumbents bet on a model that's aging badly. We're privately well-funded and uniquely positioned to take share right now. Over the next few years, multi-site operators, PE-backed ownership groups, and ultimately entire health systems will pick their RTM partner, and that's when the category gets decided. Doing RTM the right way and winning big are the same move here. The groups choosing carefully will choose the model that holds up, and your job is to make sure they choose Orva.

What the job actually is

You'll own the enterprise motion end to end. Multi-site PT operators and PE-backed platforms are our top growth priority, and that pipeline is yours, from first touch to signed agreement.

Here's what I can tell you from running this motion myself. We win these conversations when we get in the room. The pitch lands with operators who care about efficiency, outcomes, and revenue from a service line they haven't captured, and our model works best with top-down support and a mandate.

What I need is someone who gets us in more rooms, runs complex multi-stakeholder deals with discipline, and makes winning them repeatable.

Day to day, that looks like this.

  • Building and running an outbound motion that creates pipeline instead of waiting for it
  • Leading deal cycles across clinical, operational, financial, and executive buyers
  • Partnering with me on strategy, pricing, and the accounts that matter most
  • Representing Orva with the credibility of someone who understands how PT organizations actually run and make decisions
  • Feeding what you learn in the field back into product, marketing, and positioning

You'll have product, clinical, and executive resources behind every account you pursue. As the enterprise book grows, so does the role.

You'll love this job if

  • You want your quota to be the company's growth plan, not a line item in it, with the full backing that comes with that
  • You've generated pipeline where none existed, not just worked what was handed to you
  • You're as credible with a CFO on reimbursement as you are with a clinic director on workflow
  • You've closed large, complex deals into healthcare organizations, or something equally complicated, and you can walk me through exactly how they came together
  • You run a tight process, with modern sales tools where they help and your own judgment where they don't

You should not take this job if

  • You need an SDR team feeding you qualified meetings. There isn't one. You'll build the machine you run.
  • You want a playbook to execute. You'll write it, with me, and it will change as we learn.
  • Long, multi-stakeholder deal cycles wear you down. Healthcare enterprise sales rewards patience and punishes shortcuts.
  • You measure a role by the size of the team under you on day one. This role grows with the book you build.

We care more about what you've done than where you've done it. If the first list reads like your track record and the second one doesn't scare you, keep reading.

Compensation and logistics

  • On-target earnings of $220,000 to $300,000, base plus uncapped commission, set by experience and track record
  • A commission plan you can calculate in your head, so you know what a deal pays before you chase it
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Remote from anywhere in the US, with travel where the accounts warrant it
  • The tools you need to run a modern outbound motion, bought without a committee
  • Decisions in days, not quarters, with no layers between you and the founder

How to apply

Skip the cover letter. Send me a short note on the most challenging deal you've ever closed and how you got it done, plus a paragraph or less on why Orva. Resumes are welcome, but the note is what I'll read first.
